Newrest in Wacasco obtains OHSAS 18001 certification

Newrest in Wacasco, already holding the ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality management systems) and the ISO 22000: 2005 (Food safety management systems) certifications, has now obtained the OHSAS 18001: 2007 certification. The latter, awarded by the ISO-accredited certification organization TUV Rheinland, focuses on the Occupational health and safety management systems. This milestone strengthens Newrest in Wacasco’s commitment in achieving excellence in the occupational health and safety field. It provides a framework for constant improvement and will be useful in terms of regularly evaluating the dangers and risks of activities, products and services. Lastly, it will certainly help continuously improve health and safety practices.
