Newrest Madagascar and Ambatovy organised Hand Injury Prevention Stand Down

This was because of an increase in number of hand injuries registered in recent months in Madagascar, the objective was to sensitize Newrest staff to avoid keeping their hands in the line of fire and reduce hand injuries.

A commitment form was signed by staff with below information.

We all commit to respect the following basic requirements:

• Avoid line of fire;
• Ensure adequate tools are used for the job;
• Ensure proper work method is used.
