ISO 22000:2005 certification

The ISO 22000:2005 certification has been renewed in all the production units of the country: Athens, Chania, Corfu, Heraklion, Kos, Rhodes, Thessaloniki and its catering unit operating in MITERA Hospital on July 4th. ISO 22000:2005 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption. It is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, which are involved in any aspect of the food chain and want to implement systems that consistently provide safe products. The means of meeting any requirements of ISO 22000:2005 can be accomplished through the use of internal and/or external resources.

OHSAS 18001:2001 certification in Athens unit on July 6th, 2017

OHSAS 18001 is a series of standards for evaluation and assessment of health and safety (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification) which seeks to help organizations to develop a policy on occupational health and safety to improve it.

ISO 9001:2015 certification on July 7th, 2017

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization: a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.
