A Decade of dedication

Success is rarely achieved overnight. It is built through years of commitment, perseverance, continuous learning, and an unwavering dedication to excellence. At Newrest Wacasco, we are proud to celebrate the remarkable journey of one of our most valued team members: Ambia Ahmed Bablu, whose career is a true reflection of what passion and hard work can accomplish.

Ambia joined Newrest Wacasco on 23 March 2015, beginning his journey as a Kitchen Helper at Abraj 102 in April 2015. Like many great success stories, his career started with humility, determination, and a willingness to learn every aspect of the job. Recognizing his strong work ethic and commitment, Ambia was promoted to Waiter in March 2016 and transferred to BEC Ghala. Just three months later, he continued his journey at Baomar Hoist Daleel, where he spent nearly three years delivering exceptional service and consistently demonstrating professionalism. His dedication did not go unnoticed. During his time at BaOmar Hoist Daleel, Ambia was offered the opportunity to develop his leadership skills by training for the role of Camp Boss. After successfully completing his training, he confidently assumed the Camp Boss responsibilities during the incumbent’s annual leave, proving his capability and readiness for greater responsibilities.

Following this successful assignment, Ambia was appointed as a Junior Camp Boss at Al Shawamikh Daleel 1, before being transferred a few months later to another location FOS 17, where he continued to strengthen his operational and leadership experience for more than a year. His consistent performance and dedication earned him a well-deserved promotion to Camp Boss, taking charge at Abraj Flow for over two years. He then continued his journey at Abraj 303, where he successfully managed camp operations for three years, followed by more than a year at Abraj 105. Today, Ambia serves as the Camp Boss at Al Shawamikh Rig 174, where he has earned a reputation as one of Newrest Wacasco’s most outstanding and highly valued Camp Bosses. His leadership, commitment to operational excellence, and ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues have made him a role model across the organization.

Ambia’s decade-long journey is more than a career progression, it is a powerful reminder that dedication, resilience, and a positive attitude can open doors to endless opportunities. From Kitchen Helper to one of our leading Camp Bosses, his story embodies the values that define Newrest Wacasco: commitment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellence in service.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ambia for his loyalty, hard work, and outstanding contributions over the past ten years.
