Peru: Newrest Inflight receives recognition from MINAM

The Ministry of the Environment has awarded a diploma to Newrest Inflight Peru S.A.C. in recognition of having completed the first level of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) management, called “Medición”, during the year 2023.

This means that the company has calculated and recorded the amount of carbon emissions generated by its operations, using the official tool Huella de Carbono Perú. The scope of this evaluation includes its administrative headquarters and inflight catering facilities.

This recognition is an important step in the group’s environmental management, as measuring the carbon footprint is the first step to implementing strategies for reducing and mitigating environmental impact.
