Newrest teams in Rio and Sao Paulo start their partnership with KLM
America
KLM, a partner of Newrest
Newrest and KLM join forces again to provide inflight catering on daily flights from Rio and Sao Paulo to Amsterdam. It is a great pride for the Newrest Group to collaborate with KLM, a major global customer in South America. The Dutch airline, founded in 1919, is the oldest airline in the world still in operation. It has a solid experience, which has shaped its excellent reputation. Newrest is always in a continuous development process, whether through its catering outlets or its numerous partners.
A strong presence in Brazil
Newrest team has been in Brazil since 2020, with two sites located in Rio and Sao Paulo. These units serve more than 20,000 meals per day. Since then, daily flights are served thanks to an artisanal production ranging from breads, pastries to pastries. This production comes in addition to all inflight meal services offered.
Rio and Sao Paulo are equipped with modern, automated production processes and highly efficient logistics systems adapted to KLM operations. Designed by Newrest Group Technical Department, they ensure optimal production and quality processes.
Other Newrest units in South America are planned to launch their operations in the coming weeks. These launches will be done with the two airlines of the Air France – KLM Group and we wish them the same success. This group, created in 2004, is the result of the Franco-Dutch alliance between the two main airlines, Air France and KLM.
