As millions of students returned to school in recent days, the new academic year also marks a season of new beginnings for Newrest teams. Across France, 23 new sites have joined our collective catering activities, confirming the Group’s continued growth in this segment.
These new contracts span a wide variety of environments, from educational institutions to businesses and public organizations, illustrating Newrest’s ability to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Concepts tailored to every environment
To meet the expectations of every guest, Newrest deploys concepts adapted to each age group and environment. Madeleine and Entre 2 Cours are designed for younger students, while the new Farm’Attitude concept targets middle and high school students. Les Petits Plats du Chef and Attitude complement the offering for adult audiences, while Crushly provides a modern, balanced, and convenient option for guests looking for a quick meal on the go.
Beyond the food offering itself, the customer experience remains at the heart of the approach, with engaging dining spaces and strong brand identities, including the popular Madeleine mascot, a favorite among younger guests.
A broad range of expertise reflecting our commitment
Beyond day-to-day catering services, several of these new contracts showcase the breadth of the Group’s expertise.
A good example is the Institut de Mesnières, located within the Château de Mesnières, where Newrest teams provide both onsite catering services and event catering throughout the year.
Several sites also highlight Newrest’s commitment to more sustainable catering solutions. In the Northwest region, our Be the change CSR approach is reflected through short supply chains, food waste sorting and weighing initiatives, and even cargo-bike deliveries at the Mesnil-Esnard site to help reduce the environmental footprint of our operations.
The same momentum can be seen in the Southwest region, where nine new sites have opened, including the Rectorat de Toulouse, Lycée Sainte-Marie des Champs in Toulouse, Collège Notre-Dame de Montauban, and Saint-Dominique School Complex in Labruguière. Across these locations, teams have implemented the Newrest concepts best suited to the expectations of students and educational staff, creating a modern, welcoming, and engaging dining experience from day one.
With 23 new openings across France, the 2026 back-to-school season confirms Newrest’s continued growth in collective catering. This development is driven by innovative concepts, concrete sustainability commitments, and, above all, the daily dedication of our teams to delivering a high-quality experience to every guest.
