One Team Unlimited Challenge 2025: Newrest Morocco at the heart of the Fès Marathon

It all started with a simple but powerful idea: to surpass ourselves together. At Newrest, sport is much more than just physical effort; it is a mindset that strengthens bonds and pushes everyone to give their best. In this spirit, 32 employees took on the One Team Unlimited Challenge 2025, an annual challenge focused on surpassing oneself and cohesion, by participating in the Fès Marathon.

Heading to Fès: between motivation and team spirit

Excitement was in the air at the time of departure. From the Newrest Morocco headquarters in Casablanca, the team set off for Fès, a city rich in history and traditions. Some opted for the 10 km, others for the 21 km, but all shared the same determination: to cross the finish line.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was already warm. Before running the Fès Marathon, a moment of sharing awaited the participants: a family meal at one of the employees’ homes with local flavors, embodying the hospitality and traditions of this spiritual city.

A marathon through the history of Fès

On February 16, in the early hours of the morning, the team headed to the Porte du Soleil roundabout, the starting point of the marathon. The air was fresh, and the atmosphere was magnificent, filled with the energy of the runners. Then, the starting signal was given.

The course offered a true immersion into the heart of Fès: its lively streets, its historical monuments, the unique architecture of the old medina. Each kilometer was a step towards the finish line, driven by collective motivation and personal effort.

Finish line of the Fès Marathon: a challenge met together

The challenge? 10 km or 21 km, depending on each person’s abilities and determination. Regardless of the chosen distance, encouragement and support punctuated the race. Beyond individual performance, this race was a true collective adventure.

This participation in the Spiritual Marathon of Fès will remain further proof that sport and the One Team Unlimited Challenge are part of Newrest’s DNA.
