One Team Unlimited Challenge Polynesia

The 2025-2026 season of Newrest’s sports challenge kicks off with renewed energy and initiatives that embody the Unlimited spirit. Here are the first feats taken on by Newrest employees around the world.

Spain: Running in Madrid

In September, the Spanish team took part in the iconic “Madrid Corre por Madrid”. This 10 km route through the historic streets of the capital offered participants a unique sporting and cultural experience.

Congratulations to all participants for successfully tackling this challenge together!

Réunion: Climbing peaks together

In mid-September, Newrest Réunion employees reached new heights with 700 meters of positive elevation gained collectively.

More than a physical performance, this event was a demonstration of solidarity and mutual support. Every step was marked by a positive mood and the will to push boundaries together, proving that the most beautiful summits are conquered as a team.

Ghana: An adventure in the heart of the canopy

One early October morning, the Ghanaian team headed to the Volta region for a spectacular Canopy Walk.

After an hour’s hike and 293 steps climbed, participants discovered suspended walkways above the canopy, offering a unique experience of effort and wonder.

Nigeria: Sport and tradition come together

On October 11, 2025, Newrest Nigeria organized an inter-unit match between Lagos and Abuja.

After traveling 511 km to Lagos, the men’s teams faced off in a thrilling football match, ending with a penalty shootout victory for Abuja (6-5).

Meanwhile, female colleagues excelled in a relay race and a traditional ludo game (a dice and race game played with four pieces per player), strengthening ties between units.

France: Two sites mobilized

Toulouse: Solidarity and sports challenges

Employees in Toulouse took part in major events: the Triathlon Vieux-Boucault, the Toulouse Half Marathon, and the Corrida de Noël. The latter, a race organized for the benefit of children at CHU Purpan, brought together seven participants on 5 and 10 km routes despite thick fog—a great show of commitment and solidarity.

Île-de-France: Cross Le Figaro for a good cause

At the end of November, the regional team tackled the 20 km Cross Le Figaro at the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud. This event, in partnership with Téléthon, supported research into rare diseases while reaffirming Newrest’s commitment to solidarity.

Peru: Team spirit on the court

On October 25, Newrest Peru took part in a volleyball tournament at Colegio Franco Peruano. An opportunity to show that passion and cohesion also thrive outside operations, with employees proudly representing their colors.

Polynesia: Diving into Tahitian treasures

In Polynesia, the One Team Unlimited Challenge reached new depths with a collective dive at the iconic “La Source” site.

Despite the rain, participants encountered majestic turtles and sleeping sharks. Between apprehension and wonder, this dive illustrates the strength of team spirit and the ability to turn fear into shared victory, in a natural setting that makes Tahiti one of the world’s most beautiful aquariums.

Cambodia: A historic half marathon

On December 7, the Cambodian team participated in the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon. Amid the millennial temples of Siem Reap, employees ran distances ranging from 5 km to 21 km.

Kudos to everyone who took part and to those who came out to cheer them on!

These first challenges herald a year full of emotions and collective achievements. The One Team Unlimited Challenge continues to unite teams internally around strong values: self-improvement, solidarity, and team spirit.
