At Newrest, sport is much more than a discipline: it is a mindset shared by all teams. In recent months, Newrest employees have taken part in several running and walking events. Spotlight on their sporting challenges!

From Madrid to Toulouse: employees push their limits

This commitment is reflected in active participation in races and walks around the world as part of the internal challenge: One Team, Unlimited Challenge. Employees regularly take part in sporting events and are supported by Newrest. Among the latest highlights:

“Madrid corre por Madrid”, a 10 km race in Spain
Odyssea Réunion, a 5 km walk in support of breast cancer research
The Toulouse half marathon.

In Barcelona, Newrest found its champion

Everyone is encouraged to find their place and push themselves within the group.

Among the inspiring stories is that of Brahim Fateh, inflight supervisor in Barcelona, recently crowned Catalan champion in mixed relay and sponsored by Newrest. In November, he and his team finished 4th in the Spanish Mixed Relay Championship.

And it’s not over! On December 17, he will take part in an individual race aiming to beat his personal record over 5 km (14’20). On December 31, he will start the Saint-Sylvestre race in Barcelona, where he hopes to improve his 10 km record (29’50). Outstanding performances from this athlete, whom Newrest is proud to have on its team.

Newrest reaffirms its commitment to promoting running and walking among its employees.
