Newrest asserts its ambitions in French catering sector

Flexibility and innovation

The group’s key strengths are flexibility, culinary expertise, and a customer-centric approach. The size of its school clients can vary from 70 to 3,500 people and the group knows how to adapt and bend to customer expectations.

Through its catering unlimited vision, Newrest group offers an experience that goes far beyond the simple catering service. Indeed, it also provides more technical services, offers nutritional advice and knows how to adapt to all restaurant formats, such as boarding schools. The latter are very specific sites as they are managed 24 hours a day with additional services such as room cleaning, laundry and entertainment. In May, Newrest started a collaboration with the College and High School – Ile-de-France boarding school in Villebon with more than 550 guests daily. On the menu, fresh products, including “Atypique” products (downgraded products with labels) which are part of our fight against food waste.

The group has renewed its commitment to the Elbeuf town hall, near Rouen, to which it offers a supply and assistance service within the municipal central kitchen. These services start with the development of menus through our Winrest tool, followed by ordering and stock management. 9 schools in the region are supplied from this central kitchen. We can see that Newrest places the expectations of its customers at the heart of its projects.

Sport and a taste for challenge

One type of customer that Newrest is particularly proud to serve is high level sportsmen and women. The CREPS of Toulouse, a loyal partner of the group, has renewed its contract for 5 years. Newrest is consolidating its relationship with the CREPS, thanks to its know-how in terms of nutrition and its cutting-edge culinary expertise. New digital innovations will be deployed.

Thanks to its reputation, the group has signed with the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy (TPAA). The famous and innovative school located in Lyon allows young people to reconcile their passion with their studies. The partnership will take effect in August 2022 and will serve 200 meals a day. It is an honour for Newrest to work with this institution, which shares the values of performance, team spirit and surpassing oneself defended by the group.

Whatever the sector of activity, Newrest has the ambition to propose innovative solutions. For school catering, the group has succeeded in building customer loyalty over the years thanks to attractive proposals and complementary services.
