Newrest joins forces with AREAS to jointly operate an in-flight catering license at Nantes and Bordeaux airports.

A strategic alliance between Newrest and AREAS

Newrest announces its partnership with AREAS, the leading operator in travel and leisure catering. Together, they will operate an inflight catering license at Nantes and Bordeaux airports.

This strategic alliance will enable both groups to enhance their service offerings and benefit from operational and commercial synergies. The start date for operating these sites is scheduled for October 1, 2024.

Through this 70% stake, the Toulouse-based group consolidates its network in the provinces in the inflight catering sector by now operating at the sites of Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Toulouse, Roissy, Orly, and Le Bourget. From Bordeaux and Nantes airports, Newrest serves airlines such as easyJet, Volotea, Air France, Transavia and Air Transat.

Newrest develops its expertise in airport services by offering innovative solutions and leveraging its sector experience to its clients.
