Fabrice Amedeo embarked for the Transat Jacques Vabre sailing race

The start of Jacques Vabre sailing race took place on Sunday, November 5th at 1.35pm.

Fabrice Amedeo embarked with Giancarlo Pedote on Newrest – Brioche Pasquier board, alongside 12 other IMOCAs. This edition started from Le Havre to reach Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. This race will mark Fabrice Amedeo’s last challenge on his Gitana 80, as a new project will be launched on 2018: the IMOCA with foils.
