Celebrating Flight Attendant Day in our countries

On May 31st, our teams in Dubrovnik were involved for a special moment of sharing as we marked Flight Attendant Day alongside its airline partners. This celebration was part of a broader initiative, with similar celebrations organized by Newrest teams in other countries, including Germany, Brazil, Zambia and Greece. 

Throughout the day, our teams in Dubrovnik had the pleasure of welcoming cabin crews from Croatia Airlines, Flydubai, Ryanair, and United Airlines, taking the time to recognize their essential role in the travel experience. Often working behind the scenes with unwavering dedication, flight attendants play a key part in ensuring passengers’ comfort, safety, and overall journey quality.

To celebrate the occasion, Newrest Croatia prepared personalized gift boxes featuring a selection of local delicacies and souvenirs. Inside, crew members discovered Croatian chocolates, traditional candied orange peel treats, and a postcard reflecting the region’s identity. Each box was accompanied by a handwritten thank-you card signed by Virgil Guglielmina, General Manager of Newrest Croatia, adding a personal touch to this gesture of appreciation.

Beyond the gifts and recognizing the importance of flight attendants around the world, this initiative was above all about strengthening the connection between ground and onboard teams. It highlighted the close collaboration that exists every day between Newrest and its airline partners, all working toward a shared goal: delivering a seamless and high-quality passenger experience.
