Progress Group & Newspaper of Newrest Gabon!

In October, Newrest Gabon has set up a progress group at the initiative of its Human Resources department, which consists of a representative from each department (HR, HSE, QAQC, Operations, Accounting / Finance).

Each month, employees of Newrest Gabon meet for a working session during which everyone proposes a topic to share with others. One of these topics will be selected and worked in collaboration with each representative. Once finalized, we present it to the members of CODIR for validation.

The first project to be validated is the publication of a monthly newspaper: Le News Newrest Gabon. In this journal, we find several sections containing the latest news that took place in the previous month such as:

One HR section (employee of the month, new arrivals from Newrest Gabon, births, marriages, deaths, upcoming birthdays, tenure),
An HSE section (election of the best site of the month in terms of HSE indicators),
An operation rubric (election of the photo of the month, theme nights on our sites, photos of the PURE animation, our catering operations …).

Starting on the 5th of each month, each service can send its article proposals and all of this is compiled in our monthly journal.

We are therefore happy to have broadcasted the first issue of our newspaper which takes our last news’ of the month of September 2019!

It is distributed each month by mail to all Newrest agents and is also available in paper form in multiple copies in our reception room, which allows our visitors, internal and external, to learn about our activities!
