One Team Unlimited Challenge: discover the 2025 challenges!

The One Team Unlimited Challenge 2025 began last fall. Today, we highlight the first challenges taken on by our collaborators around the world. Embark on an adventure by reading the stories of their epic challenges!

Colombia: hike to La Chorrera Waterfall

In Colombia, 22 collaborators participated in an impressive challenge: hiking 6 kilometers on rugged terrain with:

• a maximum slope of 4º,
• a vertical ascent of 34 meters,
• altitudes ranging from 2,492 to 2,540 meters above sea level.

This moderately difficult hike allowed our adventurers to visit extraordinary places:

• La Chorrera Waterfall, a tiered waterfall (590 meters). It is the highest in Colombia, the 6th highest in South America, and the 60th highest in the world.
• El Chiflón Waterfall, a 55-meter-high waterfall where you can walk behind the water curtain at 40 meters. Extreme sports are practiced here.
• Monkey Cave, a rock formation where you can observe stalactites of various shapes.

Congratulations to the organizing teams for setting up this magnificent challenge!

Cambodia: a challenge combining organization, sport, reflection, and spirituality

The management team of Newrest Cambodia took on their One Team Unlimited Challenge in November.

A day combining organization, sport, reflection and spirituality on the Oudong hill and its temples:

• Organization first, to find the right way to bring 100 kg of rice and 40 liters of drinking water as an offering for the local population.
• Sporting activity then, to climb the steps leading to the summit and its panoramic view of the surrounding area.
• Finally, a quiz on the history and knowledge of Newrest to share our background, followed by a spiritual exploration of the various temples along the way to the summit!

Oman: a hike on the famous Sidab Trail

Our Omani adventurers began this challenge by taking the famous Sidab Trail for an unforgettable mountain hike, reaching the serene Gulf of Oman!

The hike required physical endurance, but above all collaboration, strength, and resilience. From the very first step, the goal was clear: support each other at every stage so that everyone reaches the destination. By showing unity, solidarity, and overcoming obstacles together, the members of the Newrest Oman team proved they are truly One Team!

Our adventurers finally arrived at Elephant Rock Cove, that is aptly named because the rock resembles an elephant! There, they proudly planted the Newrest flag as a symbol of achieving their goal.

After a lunch break and swim, they returned to the starting point to celebrate their victory.

Spain: an 8-a-side football championship

On January 28, Newrest Spain took on their One Team Unlimited Challenge. The Spanish team participated in an 8-a-side football championship between 4 companies working at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Airport:

• BINTER
• MULTISERVICIOS AEROPORTUARIOS
• GROUNFOR Y MENZIES

Our Newrest Spain team won 4-1 against the Binter team in the final! Congratulations!

Switzerland: the team shined at the Semnoz White Trail!

As part of the One Team Unlimited Challenge, the Newrest Switzerland team put on their crampons and headlamps to take on a challenge: the Semnoz White Trail!

Not only was it a trail in the snow, but the additional difficulty was the night, as the teams started at 5 pm and faced the sunset. To venture into this challenge, it’s better to be prepared…

Saudi Arabia: our Unlimited Team at the Riyadh Marathon!

On February 8, members of the Newrest KSA team put on their sneakers and pushed their limits at the 2025 Riyadh Marathon!

It was not just a race, but a demonstration of the Newrest One Team Unlimited Challenge spirit: resilience, teamwork, and passion to go beyond expectations.

Morocco: our collaborators participated in the Fez Marathon

In February, 32 collaborators took on the 2025 One Team Unlimited Challenge, an annual challenge focused on surpassing oneself and cohesion, by participating in the Fez Marathon.

The challenge? 10 km or 21 km, depending on each person’s abilities and determination. No matter the chosen distance, encouragement and support marked the race. Beyond individual performance, this race was a true collective adventure!

Bolivia: trekking at El Jardín de las Delicias Waterfalls

Bolivia’s 2025 One Team Unlimited Challenge was organized to put to the test the physical and mental endurance, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and respect. The team did a 7-hour, 17 km trek across jungle terrain, wet roads with lush vegetation, steep slopes, ravines, and rivers with abundant slippery rocks.
