One Team Unlimited Challenge: a shared adventure for Newrest Wagons-Lits and Facilit’Rail France

Once again this year, Newrest Wagons-Lits and Facilit’Rail France have taken on the OTUC challenge through three events designed to engage as many team members as possible. Discover this adventure!

A look back at a sporty and inspiring weekend at the Ecotrail de Paris!

In March 2025, 29 Newrest employees rose to the challenge by participating in the Ecotrail de Paris. Despite unpredictable weather, each of them showed remarkable commitment, combining personal achievement with team spirit.

The weekend kicked off at full speed with 6 employees tackling the 30 km course, followed by 2 more brave participants on the 45 km route. A few hours later, Laurent Obert, Director of Planning, took on the ultimate challenge: the 80 km race. Thanks to his determination, he crossed the finish line at the top of the Eiffel Tower—an impressive feat!

The next day, the teams kept up the momentum by taking part in several events:

• 10 km Nordic walk
• 10 km trail run
• 18 km trail run

A huge congratulations to all Newrest runners for their performance and contagious energy. This weekend will be remembered as a shining example of cohesion, perseverance, and shared passion!

April: Everyone to the kitchen!

Eighteen employees took on a unique culinary challenge: in just two hours, they had to prepare a sweet or savory dish using a surprise basket… with one mandatory mystery ingredient for all: the pear!

Creativity, teamwork, and good vibes were all part of the experience. Thanks to their team spirit and inventiveness, every duo turned this challenge into a true gastronomic success. The jury, made up of Newrest colleagues, was won over by the variety and quality of the dishes presented.

Heading for an urban adventure with the orienteering race in Paris!

To wrap up the One Team Unlimited Challenge 2025 in style, Newrest employees took part in a thrilling orienteering race in the heart of the capital. Split into 8 teams, they roamed the streets of Paris in search of checkpoints, while taking on a series of fun and strategic challenges.

After a close competition, it was the purple team that triumphed in this final event, thanks to their cohesion and speed.
