Newrest Wagons-Lits at the Agriculture Show

Next week, at the Agriculture Show, Newrest Wagons-Lits will meet several emblematic partners as part of its commitment to French industries. This coincides perfectly with the launch of the spring 2026 menu on TGV INOUI, on February 26.
Our presence is fully in line with our role as a railway caterer: we work closely with French producers and SMEs, supporting them concretely through our purchasing volumes and long-term collaborations.
Through every product served on board the Bistro TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS trains, an entire value chain connects agricultural farms to millions of travellers.
C’est Qui Le Patron?!: fair remuneration at the heart of the model
At the Show, we will reconnect with C’est Qui Le Patron?!, a committed partner whose solidarity apple juice has been offered on board since 2022.
In just a few years, nearly two million cartons have been served, representing over 600,000 litres of juice. Behind these volumes, 32 apple-growing families benefit from a model guaranteeing remuneration collectively defined by consumers.
This approach ensures stable, transparent and sustainable income for farmers — a concrete illustration of the positive impact that on-board catering can generate.
A new industry product on board
This momentum continues with the introduction of a soft fromage blanc and lemon cake. Its main ingredients — fromage blanc, organic butter, free-range eggs and flour — come from C’est Qui Le Patron?! supply chains.
Made by Mademoiselle Desserts, a partner since 2017, this product illustrates our ability to co-develop bespoke recipes aligned with our agricultural and societal commitments.
Les Deux Gourmands: French craftsmanship at 300 km/h
Another partner present at the Show is Les Deux Gourmands, which artisanally produces, on a farm in the Yvelines, the dark chocolate chip cookie served on board.
Since the beginning of the partnership, more than 4,100,000 cookies have been enjoyed by travellers. Beyond the indulgence, this success represents direct support for French supply chains: wheat, butter, eggs and honey sourced from committed farms rooted in their local territories.
For the company, being present on board represents a true rolling showcase on a national scale. It has helped accelerate their growth while remaining true to their standards of quality, artisanal production and local sourcing.
Every cookie enjoyed thus contributes to the sustainability of French farms and to promoting agriculture that respects soils and biodiversity.
Les Producteurs d’Abord: valorising orchards and fighting waste
We will also be meeting with Les Producteurs d’Abord, our supplier of fruit purées.
Since 2024, nearly one million pots have been produced for Newrest Wagons-Lits. The fruits used — including downgraded fruit or produce from internalised orchards — are repurposed rather than wasted, helping to preserve farms and limit tree uprooting.
This long-term partnership helps maintain family farms, encourage young farmers to get started, and pass on expertise.
Organic on board: a direct impact on farms
On board, we offer organic yoghurts produced in partnership with Beillevaire. Since June 2019, more than 3.2 million pots have been served, using nearly 343,000 litres of organic milk from a single-milking farm.
Concretely, this means that 9 cows are permanently at work for on-board catering — a very tangible illustration of the direct impact our volumes have on a single agricultural operation.
A committed value chain, from producer to traveller
These collaborations illustrate the vision carried by Newrest Wagons-Lits: supporting French supply chains, working with SMEs rooted in their territories, co-creating responsible products and offering them to millions of travellers.
At the International Agriculture Show, we will champion a strong conviction: it is possible to serve at scale while generating a positive and measurable impact on our regions.
From field to train, every product tells a story of commitment at Newrest.
