Newrest takes a stake in the Turkish company Pariltim Yemek

Toulouse, 21 August 2019 – Newrest, the French specialist in out-of-home food service with more than 1.2 million meals served every day, is expanding to Turkey

Newrest has now expanded its existing Mediterranean operations and moved into the contract catering business by taking a 50% stake in the Turkish company Pariltim Yemek in partnership with founder Necat Aydin and his family.

The family-run company founded in 2009 is a leader in out-of-home food service in Turkey, with annual turnover of €50 million and 2,400 employees. Newrest supports the executive team led by Bahadır Aydin, son of Necat Aydin.

With this new stake, Olivier Sadran and Jonathan Stent-Torriani are affirming the Newrest Group’s desire to expand its strategic operations around the Mediterranean by diversifying its areas of business and expertise.
