Newrest Peru trains community members of the Matsiguenga ethnic group in Peru

Settlers from the Matsiguengas communities of Nuevo Mundo, Nueva Vida, Kirigueti and Sepahua adjacent to Lot 57 have been trained to improve their employability skills in various areas such as hotels, gastronomy and good manufacturing practices at the ‘Nuevo Mundo’ base camp – Lot 57 administered by Repsol, located in the province of ‘La Convención’, Cusco region.

Newrest, fulfilling the objective of a socially responsible company, implemented a Local Employability Training Program that seeks to improve the employability skills of local community residents to enter the local labor market.
