Newrest Nigeria celebrated World Environment Day 2025

Newrest Nigeria partnered with the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria – FAAN to celebrate World Environment Day 2025 with the theme: Ending Plastic Pollution.

The event started with a health walk and rally to create awareness amongst all stakeholders in the airport environ and a power packed lecture “Plastic Pollution and the Aviation Industry: Threats, challenges and way forward” delivered by Dr. Gbolahan Yusuf at the NIGAV Event Centre, Ikeja.

The lecture was insightful and engaging as it discussed practical activities as it relates to the aviation industry. The question-and-answer session also gave room for enlighten contributions from the audience. See pictures of the event highlights attached.
