Newrest is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Dr Bertrand Gardini

A renowned surgeon, Dr. Bertrand Gardini was known to Newrest Group employees as a medical consultant in charge of coordinating medical emergencies worldwide.

In particular, he had supported Newrest teams in implementing the anti-covid strategy deployed in the 54 countries where the Toulouse-based group operates.

His charisma and strength of character were key to managing critical expatriate repatriation cases, particularly in Africa.

Dr Bertrand Gardini left his mark on the Group’s history through his great generosity. Through the “Entendre le Monde” association, he regularly intervened with the Malagasy population to operate on serious pathologies and restore hope to families.
