Newrest Gabon has started a new contract with Assala Energy

On August 1st, Newrest Gabon teams in Rabi-Kounga, Gabon’s main oil field, started a new contract with Assala Energy. Assala Energy, a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group, the global alternative asset manager, has taken over all of Shell’s onshore assets in Gabon.

Teams of Newrest, made up of 30 people, provide catering, maintenance and cleaning services on the Rabi site for a total of 265 POBs.

Assala is the local name given to these small elephants, the guests’ roommates on this site.
