Newrest announces a strategic acquisition in Latin America

Newrest has signed an agreement with Compass Group plc to acquire its Latin American operations located in Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

These operations generated in 2023 total revenues of approximately 600m€ in the segments of catering and support services for Remote Site operations, Business & Industry, Healthcare, Correctional facilities and Sport & Leisure events.

With limited overlap with Newrest’s existing operations, Newrest will rely on the acquired business, its management and expertise to accelerate its development in Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval in Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
