Integrated service management and safety at Kuehne & Nagel
As part of this contract, Newrest provides comprehensive cleaning, waste management, and soft facility management services across a total area of 4,609 m². The group also ensures continuous operational supervision and hygiene and safety control to maintain an optimal working environment.
The Newrest team consists of four people, including an operations manager. On-site, all staff members are equipped with full personal protective equipment adapted to their assigned area.
Precision and cleanliness through an efficient cleaning system
The service is tailored to the building’s occupancy, which hosts around 300 people per day.
Staff activities are organized by schedule and by zone, ensuring optimal efficiency. This includes cleaning workspaces, reception and dining areas, meeting rooms, the canteen, sanitizing restrooms, as well as preparing and restocking supplies and managing waste.
To ensure technical cleanliness and avoid cross-contamination between zones, Newrest uses a specialized color-coded cleaning system. Each equipment color is dedicated to a specific area, such as the cafeteria or the bathrooms.
The contract between Newrest and Kuehne & Nagel represents significant added value for the client, notably through the presence of on-site operational leadership, enabling immediate response to needs. Staff are trained in biosafety protocols and professional cleaning, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Additionally, the use of biodegradable products and the emphasis on waste sorting demonstrate Newrest’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This strategic partnership promises to maintain an optimal working environment while meeting Kuehne & Nagel’s specific requirements.
