Newrest is thrilled to announce the launch of the A380 service for Qantas flights departing Johannesburg!

Benefiting from four cabins, Newrest will be providing a wide range of gourmet meal options, including signature dishes inspired by Rockpool. Passengers can expect to enjoy fresh, high-quality ingredients and innovative culinary techniques that elevate the inflight dining experience.

“The A380 will fly up to six times per week and will see a near-doubling of capacity, with an extra 130,000 seats between Australia and Africa every year” mentioned Cam Wallace, CEO – Qantas International & Freight.

Lufthansa flights from Johannesburg to Munich launched on the A340

Newrest is also delighted to announce another exciting launch: the A340 service of Lufthansa flight from Johannesburg to Munich.

The A340 will be flying three times a week, and on each flight, Newrest will be providing various elaborate meal options to enhance passengers’ travel experience.

These two significant expansions mark a new milestone for Newrest and demonstrate its commitment to delivering world-class culinary experiences to passengers traveling from South Africa.
