Newrest was present at EXPOMIN, the largest mining trade fair in Latin America and one of the most important worldwide. The event stands out as a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders in the mining sector.

Newrest strengthens its partnerships at EXPOMIN 2025

Throughout the day, several Newrest team members engaged in strategic discussions with their clients. The directors and the commercial team particularly emphasized the value of these meetings, which offer a unique opportunity to strengthen ties with the country’s leading mining groups in a setting different from on-site operations.

A multidisciplinary team represented the company to address questions related to commercial, industrial, and supplier matters.

Newrest’s stand at EXPOMIN

In terms of digital solutions, Newrest’s stand stood out by showcasing its guest counting system Affluence and Display’EAT—a suite of tools that support the management of remote camps, especially for catering services.

The themes “Be the Change” and “I Care” were also highlighted, with information on global best practices and concrete actions implemented in Chile.

Opening Ceremony

Representatives from Newrest’s commercial teams took part in the opening ceremony. The Minister of Mines, Aurora Williams, highlighted the importance of this event, which positions Chile as a key player on the global mining stage.

Partnership with Fundación Las Rosas

At Newrest’s stand, a public-private alliance was signed, illustrating the company’s commitment to sustainable development. This partnership includes training for small producers in the Copiapó Valley, with the goal of integrating them into Newrest’s supplier network and strengthening the supply chain in the Atacama region and surrounding areas.
