In 2023, Newrest expanded its Facility Management (FM) services in several countries, including French Polynesia. A dedicated entity has been created: NFMS Polynesia. Before exploring new markets, NFMS Polynesia decided to broaden its expertise. The development of FM is structured around two main projects.

Preventive maintenance of the air conditioning fleet

NFMS Polynesia carried out preventive maintenance of the air conditioning fleet for all Newrest units in Polynesia. An intervention of this magnitude is undeniable proof of NFMS Polynesia’s expertise and allows the entity to respond to tenders and approach existing clients.

NFMS Polynesia opted for systematic high-pressure cleaning for the maintenance of split system air conditioners. This method guarantees the elimination of persistent clogs in heat exchangers and ventilation turbines, thus ensuring optimal airflow. Each intervention is completed with high-quality antibacterial and antifungal treatment. The desired result is enhanced energy efficiency, improved user experience, and good equipment maintenance.

Preventive maintenance of solar panels

NFMS Polynesia has also developed expertise in the preventive maintenance of solar panels. These were recently installed at the airport unit, which is currently undergoing renovation. This service has proven Newrest’s expertise and demonstrated the group’s professionalism in this field.

To ensure the optimal performance of the extensive photovoltaic solar panel installation located near an airport runway, NFMS Polynesia opted for an advanced maintenance solution. To complement this state-of-the-art equipment, NFMS uses a reverse osmosis system that guarantees pure, residue-free cleaning water, thus preventing the appearance of stains or deposits that could hinder light transmission. A private consultation is expected at the beginning of 2025 for a dairy product supplier, who is equipped with a very large surface of panels.
