One Team Unlimited Challenge 2025

Bolivia’s 2025 One Team Unlimited Challenge was organized to put to the test the physical and mental endurance, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and respect. The team did a 7-hour, 17 km trek across jungle terrain, wet roads with lush vegetation, steep slopes, ravines, and rivers with abundant slippery rocks. This challenge required concentration, endurance, and determination. 24 collaborators reached the finish line; extreme exhaustion did not prevent them from achieving their goal.

Objectives of the One Team Unlimited Challenge

Strengthening resilience and discipline during the One Team Unlimited Challenge

When climbing steep sections and uneven paths during the trek, the participants had to apply breathing techniques to keep pace, focus their minds on the objective, and maintain absolute concentration in taking firm steps according to the terrain being traversed. This allowed them to experience how discipline, consistency, and resilience can lead them to overcome challenges in their personal lives and work roles.

“The goal was to motivate each participant to improve their personal performance, managing to overcome difficult stretches without giving up, which reinforces the mentality of not giving up in the face of obstacles in their work and personal life”, tells a participant.

Reinforcing team cohesion and leadership skills

On certain sections of the course, teammates had to help each other overcome natural obstacles such as rocks or steep and slippery slopes. The participants continuously supported each other and looked out for one another. They were also able to observe the strength of positive leadership from several participants.

“All employees were able to experience the importance of working together and trusting their peers, understanding that, just as in the work environment, team achievements are greater when there is team cohesion.”

Reinforcing the company’s Unlimited vision

Employees were able to fully experience the Unlimited DNA with this physical and mental challenge, constantly pushing personal and professional boundaries. This will inspire employees to view their job responsibilities with the same spirit of self-improvement. Bolivia’s employees have shown that they can, in any situation, apply the Newrest’s Unlimited values, both in the physical effort during the trek and in their daily contributions at work.
