London Gatwick Airport: Newrest wins major airline catering contract with BA

Toulouse, September 12th, 2018 – Newrest, a French specialist in out-of-home food services serving 1.1 million meals a day globally in 49-countries, has been awarded a long-term contract to provide airline catering services to British Airways from Gatwick Airport as from 2020.

This new 10-year catering contract significantly strengthens Newrest’s presence in the United Kingdom, being today present in 9 stations such as London Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Exeter, Southampton and Bristol. Newrest will serve approximately 15 long-haul and 55 short-haul flights per day from Gatwick airport for BA. This new award demonstrates our ability to design and deliver innovative solutions for our customers that has underpinned our development and growth. Our focus remains on total quality of our product and service levels worldwide. Newrest Group is currently investing in a brand new, state of the art catering facility at Gatwick Airport, with modern technological advancements and incorporating a total commitment to strongly enhance food & beverage quality for BA’s customers at Gatwick Airport.
